Yes its official now.. I AM AN ENGINEER :p suddenly long gone are the days with lots of small smiles and fights. staying up aimlessly doing things, summa vetti dhan days. CORPORATE is the new mantra for all the slogging done for the past 4 years. responsibilty all the way here i come.
What's new??! everything.
Atmosphere, people, job, travel timings, departments. but i dont think thats gonna make me any different( hopefully :P).. last day of college as a student when our tags were taken away was filled with a lot of mixed emotions. i miss my college building, each corridor i spent walkin and runnin to class :( :) and mainly all the people who were with me throughout that journey. crazy ride it was. learnt a lootttttt! life teaches lessons on the go doesn't it!? tel me about it (mind voice :D)
the last 2 exams that we were looking fwd to get over with was extended more than a month and finally most awaited end of college due to the prolonged exam schedule and everything ended in the hurry of everyone trying to sort out their travel plans and moving out to places. So apparently the bidding goodbyes in groups and hanging out thing was lost somewhere in between. All of us telling each other to keep in touch through texts or by the social networking status comments was all that we were left with. Fear of losing our close friends whom we met everyday and the distance which was slowly increasing with our changed routines was filling our minds making our hearts heavy. As the most stated memory goes- before it used to be "hey lets meet and plan something" and now lets plan and meet someday" :( yes its true.
I can probably see every head readin this post nodding. And even those planned meetings dont work out always as some important work comes up for someone in the group in the last min and it gets called off. When this keeps repeating a situation comes when the group of ppl start meeting with whomsoevr turns up.. and there s always a lot of catching up to do when u wonder why dint i know all of this and think back when we used to text the other ppl in the group when even a small thing happens. We get busier everyday with things happening around us, each with a different thing but always remember that your friends are waiting to talk to you like always. so whenevr u get some time drop a line and its like before :)
Coming back to the corporate life, i ve jus stepped into it. lets see how it goes. wish me luck! :)
